The Advance THETA ULS is an ultra-lightweight, mid-B paraglider designed for adventure touring, hike-to-fly, and vol-biv.
Launched as a new model for 2024–2025, it bridges the gap between the Epsilon DLS (low-B) and the Iota DLS (high-B), combining the performance of the latter with the “feel-good” factor and comfort of the former.
Key Technical Features
Ultra-Lightweight Structure (ULS): Developed from the OMEGA ULS competition wing, it features a weight-optimized internal structure with “Sliced Diagonals” and micro cross-ports.
Advanced Materials: Utilizes Nitinol rods in the nose for durability and lightness, along with high-tech Edelrid Pro Dry lines that are 60% more water-repellent.
Effective Pitch Control: Equipped with C-handles, allowing active flying on the C-level to adjust the angle of attack without deforming the wing profile.
Optimized Profile: A new-generation profile provides balanced pitch behavior, making it more resistant to being pushed off course in turbulence.
Pilot Requirements
The THETA ULS is intended for pilots who fly at least 40 hours per year and have experience in thermal flying.
It is highly recommended for those who have mastered an active flying style and are looking for a wing that is easy to launch and land in challenging, off-pavement locations.
